Welcome to the GWR Hole & Sons website.
We are a third generation family business that started farming 53 years ago in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck in South Dorset, UK. In this time we have grown from tenanting 550 acres to just over 2200 acres running a mixture of dairy, beef, sheep, pig and arable enterprises. Despite this continuing growth, we have always adhered to our principles of honest, traditional, high quality farming; with the welfare of our stock being of the utmost importance.
Having sold lamb, beef and pork to friends and family for a number of years, it wasn't until 2008 when we increased this aspect of our business by butchering our meat on the farm in a purpose built facility. We sell meat through various outlets, including pubs, cafes, B&B, local shops including our own here at the farm, as well as direct-to-door via regular weekly deliveries.
